Even though it seems like the work never ends here on the ranch, and with the shorter amounts of daylight available in the winter, the pressure is even higher to get everything done before you need headlights...we still do our best to try and take some time here and there to take our 3 daughters out on the ranch and do some exploring or have some fun. This frozen creek is one of the girls favorite places to explore, and it changes from week to week depending on the weather and temperature so its like a new adventure each time we go out there. In this photo you can see our older daughter Aryanah (11yr) holding the hand and helping of our youngest daughter Vayda (5yr) while they walk back home after trudging thru the deep snow for over a mile, ahead of them our middle daughter Jersey (9yr) is sitting on the drifted creek bank waiting for them to catch up while Kane our Great Dane puppy eggs them all on...Its time like this that make all the long days worth it...
